For over 50 years Guide Dogs Victoria (GDV) has been providing the very special form of mobility and companionship that a Guide Dog brings.
Marcus has central vision loss. As a child he is not eligible for Guide Dog assitance, but GDV support him through their Centre for Mobility Assessment & Training. An Orientation and Mobility Instructor is helping him gain confidence and independence in everyday life.
Marcus may be a fictional character, but thousands of real people of all ages are in his situation and rely on the services provided by Guide Dogs Victoria.
GDV receives minimal government funding and relies on the support of the general public. You can help by making a tax deductible donation, remembering Guide Dogs Victoria in your Will, or supporting our special events and other fundraising initiatives.
